We made our first visit to Florida in 1988, when we won an all expenses paid trip to Disney World. We packed our bags with anticipation and set off in to the unknown to visit Mickey, we were all very excited!
Having not visited Florida before we had no idea how unique and special this part of the world actually was. Disney World was great fun, but we soon discovered there was so much more to see and do. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful white sandy beaches, the amazing sunsets and lazy evenings, oceans which were warm, blue and inviting and the Everglades which are the only subtropical preserve in North America, and this is just the tip of the iceberg!
We fell in love with Florida and took many more holidays to the sunshine state, staying in privately owned Orlando holiday villas near to all the sights and attractions. After each hectic day we would return to our Disney villa to unwind for the evening, and as the sun set we would relax by the pool with a glass of wine. We soon released that this was the place we wanted to live and enjoy our lives together, so we decided to buy an Orlando holiday home which was paid for by the villa rental market. This unexpectedly kick started our business Florida 1st, which has expanded and developed over the years to become the successful company that we are today.
Whilst in Florida we have gained a large amount of knowledge and experience about the area and the rental property market. This has provided us with a unique insight into what each visitor is looking for when booking an Orlando villa. We believe that an essential part of any holiday are first impressions, if the vacation villa you are staying in meets your expectations and is warm and inviting, then we guarantee you will have a fantastic time. This is one of Florida 1st main priorities, so we are very particular when selecting homes for holiday rentals.
Today, Florida 1st has a team of dedicated professionals who take pride in the homes we manage and rent. Our villas are furnished, cleaned and maintained to the highest standard and are all within easy reach of Disney World and the many other fantastic attractions Florida has to offer.
